To open a SMART account, you only need:
Passport or ID card of the Republic of Armenia
Social ID card

How do I open a SMART account without visiting the Bank?
Fill in the application form
Take a photo of your passport or ID card and a selfie
Choose a payment card type and its delivery mode
Register in Online Banking to manage your accounts
Once Bank approves your application you will be able to log into Online Banking and use your SMART account with restricted access and perform:
Unlimited transfers between your accounts
Daily transfers not exceeding 400,000 AMD or other currency equivalent to accounts of Ameriabank individual or corporate clients**
Utilities and other payments
Payments to State budget
Payments to Road Police
* For ordered card activation you need to pass full identification via video call or visit any branch of the Bank.
** Payments can only be made if the recipient is a fully identified physical person.

If you are a non-resident citizen of Armenia, your full identification will be performed in accordance with relevant procedures of the Bank.
